I’m a traveller by inclination, an ESL teacher by trade and an enthusiastic adventurer by nature.  This is my first blog as I finally start to keep a record of some of my travels and adventures.  Not quite sure what form it will take; it’s starting off as a diary but, who knows, it may morph into something else.  Please leave comments; I love the interaction of the internet and I love feedback.

  1. Thank you so much! I’ve been enjoying taking a browse through yours too; your photos, unlike mine, are very skilled:) I’m not very good but I do love good photographs.

Hi Maureen, It’s Bass here and you have very lovely blog and great experience. You have army and English teaching pics which seems to me completely different environments. I have nearly the same experience like yours. However, my experience is in Iraq and Australia. In Iraq as interpreter and in Australia as lecturer and researcher.
Thinking of getting back to Iraq actually sooner or later.

Seems nice. Especially considering the mess the rest of Iraq is in.
